Library Cards

Library Cards can be obtained by an adult with a valid ID (such as a Texas Drivers License). The ID must have the current mailing address or the individual can provide a utility bill or other item with name and current address. Children of five years and older can obtain a card with the parent providing the same information. Silsbee Public Library provides membership to out of county residents by being a member of the TexShare Program.

Check Out Terms

Books are checked out for three weeks. Up to three VHS and DVDs can be checked out for a maximum of five days.

Fines

Fines for books are five cents a day. Fines for movies are $1.00 a day, not to exceed $5.00 per card.

Copying and Printing

Copying and Printing from the computer is ten cents a page for black and white and a dollar a page for color prints from the computer. Divorce packets are $25.00 a packet.
